This piece is a partial collaboration with my cat. I had placed the painting on the floor for an in-progress shot when he popped his head in to check things out – and it was perfect! I had been struggling to visually represent Schroedinger’s cat being simultaneously both alive and dead, and kitty solved the problem for me! So that’s exactly how it’s now painted. Thank you Hobbes!
